The Automobilclub von Deutschland (AvD) is Germany's traditional automobile club. Our services include:

• 24/7 breakdown and accident assistance in Germany and worldwide
• AvD memberships (AvD HELP, HELP PLUS and HELP PLUS Familie)
• Access to attractive insurance rates (car, classic-car, travel, legal protection and supplementary health)
• Medically sensible repatriation and assistance abroad
• Member benefits including fuel and partner discounts
• 24/7 emergency hotlines in Germany and worldwide

We take great care to ensure the accuracy, security and timeliness of our services.

Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer. The scope and terms of any membership or insurance are governed by the applicable terms and conditions.

Your first consultation with the AvD is free of charge and carries no obligation to become a member. During the consultation, we will:

• Discuss your mobility and protection needs
• Explain the memberships and services we offer
• Outline the fees and contributions that would apply
• Answer your questions about membership, insurance and sign-up

If you choose to become a member, we will provide you with clear information on contributions and the applicable terms before your membership begins.

The first consultation is free. Membership contributions and insurance premiums depend on the tariff and cover you choose. All contributions and premiums will be explained clearly and transparently before you decide to proceed, and you will receive the applicable terms in writing.

The AvD provides its services with due care based on the information you provide and the applicable membership and insurance terms. We make reasonable efforts to ensure quality and timeliness, but we do not guarantee:

• The correctness of data supplied by you or third parties
• Outcomes that depend on local conditions or third-party service partners

Our liability is governed by the applicable membership terms, insurance conditions and applicable law. The AvD shall not be liable for losses arising from incomplete or incorrect data provided by you, except in cases of proven negligence or willful misconduct.

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding your personal and membership information, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations. We will not disclose your information to third parties except:

• With your explicit consent
• To insurance partners and service providers bound by confidentiality obligations

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – BaFin) or seek independent legal advice.

These Terms of Service are governed by German law. To the extent permitted by law, any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent for the registered office of the AvD in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be notified to existing members. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
